Knowledgeable Maria was our tour guide.
Brandy is standing next to a bathtub. It was the first one she saw in Italy (and probably the oldest and most famous).
This was the ceiling in one of the museum halls. We can't remember if it was the Map Room or the Tapestry Room. It was amazing!
This is another ceiling in one of the Vatican Museum rooms. This was very typical of most rooms that we walked through. Everything was extremely elaborate.
This photo was taken in one of the several courtyards. The big ball rotated and was a gift from someone important.
Another Vatican courtyard photo. A giant pine cone!
A Vatican building. Look at all of the sculptures on top. St. Peter's is behind it.
Brandy took a picture of a naked sculpture.
This was outside of St. Peter's.
Brandy is checking out the very impressive St. Peter's.
The dome in St. Peter's.
A plaque at St. Peter's with all of the Popes listed.
After the Vatican we were exhausted and ate at an outdoor trattoria along this street. All of the streets in Rome are cobblestone (like the one pictured here).
This is Capital Hill near the ancient ruins.
After dinner, we stopped by a local enoteca (wine bar) because we didn't get enough wine with our dinner.
